(1) Employees and persons involved in the investigation and investigation of revenue leakage offenses may carry and use the means of communication as specified by the Director General in the course of the investigation and investigation.
(2) If the permission, license or order of an official is required to use or carry any means of communication, the Director General shall obtain the permission, license or order of the relevant authority before making such a means to be carried or used in accordance with sub-rule (1).
